The Role


As a Pepperstone Delivery Lead, you are responsible for helping the team agree on what they can achieve during each development sprint. You will facilitate the daily / scrum and help the team reach consensus on each of the three questions. Helping the team continuously make progress on the project by making sure each person is working on the right tasks, helping to remove any obstacles to the team members’ progress, and protecting the team from distractions.


Responsibilities include:


  • Partner with the product managers, engineering leads, and business analysts to compile and prioritise the backlog, compile a roadmap and plan delivery sprints
  • Work with QA leads to ensure testing requirements are considered and risks are raised and managed
  • Using Agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions
  • Training, mentoring and supporting scrum teams to follow agile values, principles, and practices
  • Run Agile ceremonies for squads including daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, ensuring that requirements are well designed and understood by the team
  • Provide project status reporting and timelines are communicated to business stakeholders
  • Monitoring progress and performance and helping teams to make improvements
  • Planning and organizing demos and product/system testing
  • Ensuring the proper use of collaborative processes and removing impediments for the team


Skills & Experience


  • Strong experience acting as a true Agile champion
  • Building relationships of trust with everyone you encounter
  • Assisting teams and individuals to collaborate and coordinate their efforts towards a common goal within an Agile framework
  • Engaging and communicating at all levels across the business to facilitate support for the team and provide visibility of the team’s progress
  • Working with IT people, with all their geeky jokes and technical jibber-jabber
  • Career experiences that demonstrate the skills required for the role
  • Confidence that you can learn new things quickly
  • Great verbal and written communication skills.
